DyBond® NM or DM DMD

Coveme DyBond® products are flexible insulating materials with a B-Stage (semi po­lymerized) resin coating. During our coating process the resin is first applied onto the substrate then, by controlled heating, the polymerization is started bringing the resin to a dry-to-touch condition, stable but not fully polymerized. The substrates used for DyBond® NM are 2-plies laminates of Nomex® and PET.

DyBond® NM or DM/DMD are used as electrical insulation up to class F 155°C mainly in dry transformers.
The resin can be of various colours, applied in various grammages, on one or both sides, and on the full surface or with a diamond pattern. DyBond® B-Stage pre-pregs can be used by the manufacturer as any conventional in­sulating material. In the curing process of the final equipment the resin melts filling any possible non-uniformity before fully solidifying into a cross-linked stage (C-Stage).

Coveme insulating materials are UL Underwriters Laboratories certified and recognized by all major certification bodies worldwide.
