Coveme develops and manufactures multilayer and monolayer polymer laminates for the protection of solar panels. These laminates, marketed under the company’s dyMat® brand, provide electrical insulation and protect solar cells from humidity and other atmospheric agents. This guarantees the duration and correct functioning of the solar module for up to 30 years.
With its six in-house PV lamination lines of 20GW year production capacity and a 25 year long experience in supplying the photovoltaic industry, Coveme is today one of the top three suppliers of backsheets and frontsheets for pv modules in the market with 65 GW of solar panels installed worldwide.
The dyMat® range of solar panel films offers solutions for all types of pv modules in any installation environment. dyMat® photovoltaic laminates, suitable for up to 1500 VDC, feature a wide choice of polyester and fluorinated materials, mono and multilayer structures, different colour and several output enhancing options.
With sustainability and circular economy as one of its top priorities in both production process and product design, Coveme, as the first backsheet producer worldwide, now offers pv manufacturers its dyMat®ECO products made of recylced polyester film (rPET). Moreover Coveme has promoted the study of the carbon footprint through the LCA (life cycle assessment) analysis of a film backsheet for solar panels. This analysis was performed by the Politecnico di Milano and by Gesteco, a company that develops integrated solutions for the environment. Click here to view the LCA study
In mid-2021 Coveme together with other 160 players of the European photovoltaic industry became part of the ESMC: European Solar Manufacturing Council, supported by the European Community.
ESMC represents the interests of the European solar manufacturing industry and all our efforts are dedicated to developing, improving and increasing European photovoltaic production. Coveme is part of the "recycling group" which aims to develop the manufacturing of eco-sustainable materials for the solar industry. To learn more clik here.
